WORD FROM HARRY:
2008 is our 17th year of planning and coordinating mission
trips. Since our beginnings, we have taken 50,000 participants
on our trips. We believe the time has come to pass the
leadership mantel to the younger generation. I will continue to
be involved on a day to day basis to train our new leaders. –

our new directors: Frank has a MBA from East Carolina
University, and Sharon, a communications degree from UNC-Chapel
Hill. Frank is a veteran of the US Marine Corp. Both of them
love the Lord and are committed to missions.

We are excited about joining Youth on Mission as new
directors. We believe the Lord has led us to YOM and look
forward to many exciting years of service. We pledge to you the
same care and attention to detail that YOM has been known for

Hands On Mission is an outgrowth
of
Youth On
Mission,
which was founded in 1992. Over 50,000 youth and adults from
38 states and several denominations have participated. In the past
five years, 5,000 professions of faith have been reported.
Hands On Mission was developed to better serve the increasing
volume of interest and participation of adults and families in doing
missions.
DOCTRINAL
STATEMENT:
Evangelical in doctrine, we
believe that salvation is by faith, and Jesus is the Son of God.
We believe in the virgin birth, resurrection, and the second
coming of Christ. All Christians are called to minister.
We invite all evangelical churches to participate with us.
MISSION
STATEMENT:
Hands on Mission seeks to mobilize adults in hands on
mission involvement in a variety of settings, resulting in
life-style evangelism and spiritual growth.
